Will there ever be peace?
I think of our children who are the future of this world.
I know they learn things at school to do with war…I’m wondering what we can do for them to learn to handle situations of conflict other than having to fight.
These are some of the ways I learned surfing the internet:
• Talk with them about peace.
• What would peace be like?
• Let them know that violence is a choice.
If your child or grandchild asks, “What do we do when there are bad people who want to hurt them, their age makes a difference. Young children need reassurance. Tell them Mom and Dad will always protect them. For older children, tell them that there are other ways to deal with bad people. Some of them are: commitment, co-operation, communication, compromise, and conflict resolution.
They do have the power to make a difference. We all do. We can work together with our youth.

What we put most of our energy into is what we get. Our country is a peace loving country and we want it to remain that.
