August is quickly coming to an end and that can only mean that September and a return to school will be here before you know it! I hope everyone has had an enjoyable summer vacation and are now excited to begin the up-coming school year with renewed energy for teaching and learning. I would like to extend a warm welcome to new and returning students and staff.
The following information gives an overview of the 2018 fall term. Tuesday, September 4th will see school staffs involved in professional development and school based administrative business. Schools in Fort La Bosse School Division will be open Wednesday, September 5, 2018. This will be a day 1 on the school calendar and will be a regular school day with normal dismissal times.
A reminder to all motorists to please watch out for the many cyclists and children walking to and from school in the mornings, at lunch hour and at dismissal times during the school year.

Fort La Bosse School Division schools will be closed to students during the Fall Term on the following days: September 24th - Divisional PD In-service (No school for students); October 8th; Thanksgiving Day (Statutory Holiday); October 19th - Provincial PD/SAGE K-12 (No school for students); November 11th - Remembrance Day (Statutory Holiday); November 12th - Administration Day (No school for students); November 21st - Parent Teacher Interviews (No school for students).
Schools will be closed for Christmas Break from Friday, December 21, 2018 through Friday, January 4, 2019. Classes will resume for students on Monday, January 7, 2019, which will be Day 2 on the school calendar.

All teaching staff have been at Reston School for at least one year. They would like to welcome back returning staff: Kari Schiltroth, Rochelle Stephenson and Jennifer Wahoski. Rob Schiltroth joined Reston School as an EA late last year and Amanda Mullens moved into the administrative assistant position.
