Christmas in the Country

The 9th annual Christmas in the Country was very successful with 50 vendors and approximately 300 people walking through the doors on Sunday, October 27 at the Reston Rec Plex. “I’m very happy to announce that the Reston Nursery School and the RM of Pipestone Dance Club will be taking over the Tradeshow! Thank you to these groups and I wish them all the best,” stated trade show organizer, Krystle Menzies. “Krystle Menzies has done an exceptional job at running this show for the past 9 years and has been responsible for donating almost $20,000 back to the community of Reston. She deserves a lot of credit for her hard work,” stated Terri Williamson, co-founder of Christmas in the Country. “It’s a wonderful addition to our community!” Door prizes were won by Gail Chrisp, Carmen Skelton and Bev Barsness.
