Science, Technology, Energy and Mines, along with Tundra Oil & Gas Partnership were pleased to announce Monday, November 24, 2008 a state of the art oil recovery pilot project in the Sinclair Oil Field…RCI 2009 Travel Club hosted a successful craft sale on November 22. Twelve tables were present, some exhibitors included Party Lite, Shirley Paton’s Jams and Jellies, Patti Cakes, Avon, Pampered Chef. The 2009 Travel Club’s raised money for their trip to London, Paris and Barcelona this upcoming spring break…John and Verna Olenick of Reston were nominated and chosen for the Manitoba Council on Aging 2008 Recognition Award for outstanding contributions to seniors of Manitoba.

Russ Ellis was presented with a plaque for 11 years of service as a grain buyer for Manitoba Pool in Reston. He has accepted a position with MB Pool in Selkirk…Grand Opening ceremonies for the Willow View Solarium were held. The Ribbon cutting was handled by Jessie Jackson and Ted Mayert…The Bed & Breakfast is now open at the Gonzaga’s Farm.
