Two Sisters Horseback Ride Across Canada

Jewel and Katie Keca along with their support driver and brother, Joseph from Grimsby, Ontario are traveling across Canada on horseback to raise funds for the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides. The trio landed in Reston on Wednesday, May 29 and stopped south of the park for a rest. This is the second leg of their journey as they started out on May 4, 2017 and rode from Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario over the period of four months. After taking  a year off, they left Kenora, Ontario on May 5of this year and are hoping to reach Vancouver by September. “I raise foster puppies for LFC and feel it is important to help out,” said Jewel. They usually travel 8 hours a day and hit 30 to 40 kilometres.
