The charge comes after 36-year-old Jessie Robert David Catterson was stabbed at a home in the city on May 21.

Police say he was sent to hospital where he later died.

About a month later, police say they charged a 36-year-old Donald Leslie Parisien with second-degree murder in connection to Catterson's death.

Investigators say they believe the three men were known to each other and that a dispute escalated into a stabbing.
