Fourteen-year-old Kenzie Blaine has played hockey in the Brandon Minor Hockey league since she was 6-years-old (Timbit) and is just entering playoffs with the Brandon Female Bantam Wheat Kings, where she plays left wing.
Kenzie is the daughter of Travis and Carolyn Blaine (Walker). She has strong roots with the community of Reston as her grandparents are Heather and the late Glen Walker. She has 11-year-old twin sisters, Haley and Madison.
Kenzie loves everything about hockey, the feeling of being a part of a team and the hard work on and off the ice to keep in shape. Kenzie is in Grade 9 at Vincent Massey High School in Brandon. It is Kenzie’s wish to attend university and become an early year’s teacher when she has completed high school.
Mark your calendar for the Female Bantam A/B Tournament in Reston on the weekend of February 23 – 25 and come out and cheer Kenzie and her teammates on.
